All of these were taken at the Brandywine River.
The name's Michelle. This blog will be used for my photography, travels, experiences, and random things that come to mind. It's basically going to be what I think and what I see and what I do. Enjoy!

Photo 200 Class: Playing with Lights
I'm not entirely sure how this happened other than the long exposure was on to get a decent picture and then this happened.

My Day.
It started off like a regular Monday...kind of. Woke up at 7:53am because my sister decided to send me a Vine and my hermit crab was being noisy. Did not fall asleep until almost 9am and then woke up again at 11am. Went to my classes and all was dandy.
After class I hung out with a friend all day. We went to her dorm (can I just say North is amazing for a dorm???) so she could give me the map that I needed, then went to grab food (not the best...), and went to donate blood. (I didn't donate blood, because eek. No thank you.) After that, we went back to her dorm and drew/wrote inspirational things on priority mail stickers and put them all over campus.
Now, I ordered 500 priority mail stickers to be able to do the same. Don't believe me? Here's proof.
What did you do today?

Printing.
As a Graphic Design major, I have learned how annoying printing can be. There are so many things that can go wrong when printing. Here is a list as to why printing can be a pain:
- Colors come out either too dark or too light.
- Colors are not the colors you originally had.
- Printer running out of ink.
- Paper jams.
- Random ink stains on your prints that SHOULD NOT be there.
- Printer does not print size you want and/or need.
- Slow printing.
- The cost of printing.
- The cost of toners and/or ink.
- Paper is not the right paper you want/need for specific prints.
- Running out of paper.
- Ending up with a random line in the middle of your work.
There is probably a lot more that I am forgetting, but that's basically it.
I had to print today for my photography class, and one image came out too dark, while the other ended up having random lines all over it.
Printing will make you cry.

Artwork.
This was drawn while I was watching Bad Ink one night.
This is an example of why I'm not a painter.
I was going for gender neutral. I'm not sure if I accomplished that or not.
This isn't finished yet. I still need to find a map and cut it up. The story behind this is rather interesting. Well, where I got the idea with the map. This kid I used to talk to said to draw veins in the heart, and then I kind of thought about a road map, because roads are very "vein" like. "Take me far, far away" reminds me of road maps and hearts have veins...so BAM. Yeah, I don't know. Don't judge. I'm still open to suggestions though!
I was drawing circles while listening to music and that was a line in the song. I don't remember what song.
This is tumblr inspired.
I like lyrics and You Me At Six.
I was sick when I did this.
The iPod and earth were supposed to be for a project. I printed too many copies of it though so I just glued it onto the painted background.
I was in desperate need for inspiration for the word "vibe" and I kept thinking about hippies and smoke...so this came to be.
